OPPO introduced the ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 for its smartphones globally in August. . At the launch, it confirmed that it will roll out the beta version for the Reno8 Pro 5G first. In September, the company rolled out ColorOS 13 Beta for Reno8 Pro 5G and F21 Pro users in India.
The company has announced that ColorOS 13 Beta is now rolling out for Reno8 5G, Reno7 Pro 5G, Reno7 5G, Reno6 5G, F21 Pro, K10 5G, K10, A96, and A76 smartphones. Reno8 Pro 5G will get the ColorOS 13 stable update from November 8th.
The beta update will roll out for Reno6 Pro 5G, Reno5 Pro 5G, and F19 Pro+ smartphones from November 9th. From 18th November, OPPO A74 5G will get the beta update, and the Reno8 5G and K10 5G will get the stable update.
How to get this update:
Go to settings > About device > Tap the icon on the top right > “Trial version” Fill in the required information and apply.
Once your application is verified and approved, you will be getting a ColorOS 13 beta update soon, which you can download.

Aquamorphic Design
The ColorOS 13 carries water based aquatic theme just, which the company calls Aquamorphic design. Do note that it is the same theme available on OxygenOS 13. It has a blue-white theme and changes its color between sunrise and sunset.
The new skin brings along a new system font, system animations, and UI changes with it. Oppo has tweaked the Always-On Display by adding wild animal images called “Homeland”.
The AOD images and color will change with the day’s timing. The company has further added new widgets, new notification toggles, and many Material UI-based wallpaper.
Smart Features
The ColorOS 13 brings a host of smart features with it. The Always-On Display will now show the music player along with the living status from food delivery apps. Oppo has partnered with Zomato and Swiggy to provide users with live status without unlocking the phone.
Further, the company has partnered with Bitmoji to display new animations on the lock screen. Other smart home-screen features include Large Folders, shelves, and Home Screen Widgets.
Multi-Screen Connect
Oppo’s ColorOS 13 comes with an improved Multi-Screen Connect version. The feature allows users to sync their Oppo phone with an Oppo Pad or with any PC. They can use it to transfer files between two devices. Besides that, this feature can also be used to display the mobile screen on the PC screen.
Privacy and Security
The Android 13-based ColorOS 13 has upgraded privacy and security features to protect users’ data. OPPO has added an automatic pixelation feature for chat screenshots to hide personal and sensitive data. The system will provide regular clear clipboard data for privacy protection.
The Nearby Wi-Fi feature allows users to use any Wi-Fi without revealing specific location information. The company says that its Private Safe is encrypted with the widely-used Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to provide high levels of security.
